Started the day with some recording Hooks...for Rappers Then headed to Philly with Dre, Jesse, and Shia to check out the grape st. pub and see Franklin Bridge(http://myspace.com/franklinbridge) and Eric "Erro" Roberson (http://myspace.com/ericroberson) South Street(Downtown Philly) had a lot of street art and murals, but I slept thru half of them I was was for this joint though Stopped at the Most Famous Ishkabibbles The dopest cheesesteak spot in all the land...
Eric Roberson(sound checking) is a great inspiration to me, he started his own label in I think it was 2003 and has released 5 cd's all bangers, under Erro. He also is a killn songwriter. he has written for Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, Dwele, alot more folk but ....I'm his invisible competition...
Franklin Bridge Killn It!!!! at Grape Street Curt Chambers Lead singer/lead guitarist is a beast...
Eric Roberson startin the set off wit some thing to move to "Don't Change"...His Band is so tight, they keys player was in a Roland,Motif and synths coming outta logic (sounded like 3 keys player) and the Bassist was in it..locked wit The drummer, GROOVIN!!!! Felt Good!!!
Jesse Boykins III has a timeless sound. He shares a point of view that crosses all genres and generations. Every note and each word in all his recorded works to his live performance is skillfully crafted evoking emotions that move the listener to examine and acknowledge those feelings within themselves.
